Question by ding dong: Ps3? ???????????????????
Can Ps3 upgrade windows vista and play pc games like accompanied heroes, or star wars battlefront? Why Ps3 so expensive.

I’m pretty sure you can’t use the PS3 to play PC games because their hardware are different.

The PS3 is 600 bucks (I don’t think it’s expensive) because of the Blu-ray player. Blu-ray is new technology, and you know how expensive technology can be. The first HD TV was like 10,000 dollars, and I think the first DVD player was 500 or so. A Blu-ray player is about 800 bucks, so you can see why the PS3 costs 600 bucks instead of 400 or 500 bucks. There’s also that built-in Wi-Fi adapter.

    no it cant its basically a metal dvd playin paper weight and its so expensive because sony makes expensive machines

    no it can’t do vista, but it can do linux yellow dog. through yellow dog you can play a few pc games, im not sure about accompanied heores or battlefront. i do know you can get a battlefront for ps2 and play it with your ps3.

    ps3 is expensive, because of the blu-ray drive which allows developers to make games 50GB large vs. 9GB large. it also has bluetooth, wifi, and free internet gaming.

    no no no. ps3 is very cheap. some people buy it for the blu-ray player. if you people dont know the ps3 cost about $900 to make and it sells for $600. very cheap. also it has so many components. yes, i believe u can play any pc game through the ps3. sony might make a patch for it. i know hackers can do this. a ps3 is almost like a pc.

    Hi Mate,

    Your question is pretty interesting. Why do u want to play PC games on PS3? Gaming is lot more exciting on a gaming console than a regular PC, because PC has it’s limits and that’s the reason why Sony invented Playstations :-) )

    Since you are looking for specific games, then you should look at PS2, which has over 2000 game titles so far.

    You can install LINUX on PS3 and hook up a USB keyboard and it will be a PC 10 times faster than a regular PC and I am sure that you install any LINUX based PC games. I am NOT sure about Vista
