SAME CALIBRATION ISSUE WASTED ALOT OF TIME!!!!!! NOT HAPPY!!!!! PROBLEM IS NOT THE GAME!!!! THE BATTERIES THEY INCLUDE WITH THE GAME ARE NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO HIT THE WII SENSOR. AFTER WASTING TWO HOURS TRYING TO HELP MY SON, INQUIRED DID BATTERIES COME WITH IT? WHEN I REALIZED HE HAD INSERTED STOCK BATTERIES THAT CAME WITH THE GAME – REPLACED THEM WITH MY NEW ENERGIZER BATTERIES AND BEHOLD THE GAME CALIBRATED IN 15 SECONDS. EXCELLANT GAME – LOUSY BATTERIES.
If I could give this product zero stars I would. I got this for my son for his birthday. “Best birthday present EVER!” he said after opening it. Then…it didn’t work. We tried to “calibrate the board” for about 45 minutes…still not working. Got online and saw that it is a huge problem with the board. I am not willing to move all of my furniture (as others have) just to get the game to work (and many times that doesn’t work either!). I will be returning it and will never buy another Tony Hawk product. My son is really bummed, he never even got a chance to play the game. I have told all of my friends that bought this for Christmas – return it now before your kid goes through what mine did!!!
Bought one for my son’s birthday and it wouldn’t calibrate after lots of effort. Exchanged it for another and the same thing happened. I finally just returned it. I found out from other web sites that this is a common problem.
