Wi Fi Digital Camera
A Wi Fi digital camera offers users the ability to do things a bit more efficiently. In essence they provide some of the conveniences of a camera phone with the higher quality images and photographic features of standalone digitalcameras.
A Wi-Fi digital camera allows you to:
- Download and save pictures to your computer wirelessly. No card reader or USB cables needed.
- Transfer pictures to a compatible printer quickly and without wires or a computer.
- Wirelessly transfer pictures to photo sharing sites.
- Remote control of camera functions via computer in some instances.
The most critical thing necessary in order to use your Wi-Fi digital camera will be a network connection. A wireless home network or a hotspot should do. Buyers should be sure to read the literature on the camera to understand exactly how that individual device can connect and to which sites it will easily transfer photos wirelessly.

Nikon Coolpix P1 8MP Digital Camera
The Coolpix P1 also features built-in WiFi connectivity, which means that you can communicate wirelessly to either your computer or, through the use of an optional Wireless PD-10 Printer Adapter (sold separately), directly to your printer. This unique WiFi image transfer ability not only make it more convenient to off-load your images, it also permits a unique “live slide show” capability that is great for parties, weddings, and any other special occasion.
Honestly I had no idea that there was a little gadget like this on the market until I read a bit of news on this new Eye-Fi memory card. First of all just the fact that the memory card comes with a little Wi-Fi antenna in to pick up your hot spots is awesome in itself. I suppose this was the next logical step in the process of getting all our digital photos onto our computers and eventually online to share with all our friends and family.
Canon’s G series cameras all offer superior image quality but the G7 is one of their first to offer DIGIC III Image Processor with Face Detection Technology. Not only are images clearer and higher pixel count, but the processing and saving is twice as fast as previous technologies. You’d think such power would run your batteries dead in no time, but Canon addressed that as well by integrating low power consumption into the DIGIC III processor.
Other free software offers video calling as another hard-to-find feature in a long list of features. Vid presents a simple, intuitive interface where every element is designed to help you make a video call the moment your webcam is ready. Each of your contacts is represented by a thumbnail picture. Simply click the picture of the person you want to contact and Vid starts your video call. Click. Chat. Simple as that.
IDEAL FOR Replacing a desktop PC and everyday value. Edit and enjoy photos and videos easily on the large, high-definition widescreen display. Plus, improve productivity with a fast processor and enter data quickly using the numeric keypad.

In addition, the extra disc space means there’s room for significantly more content and special features. When you buy a DVD movie, usually you are not just getting the movie, you are also getting the extra features that come along with it, like director’s commentary and making-of documentaries. With Blu-ray, there’s the possibility for previously unheard-of special features. Imagine, for example, interactive content, like a director on the screen explaining the shooting of a scene while the scene is playing in the background.
